I'm a little late sending out the reminder, however this Thursday is the March meeting.

Last month Diane brought along a raspberry pi and was running FreeBSD on it. I obtained a copy from her and had a shot at my RPi, but no luck. Since then, I have received one of the newer models and have looked at some of the recent postings on installing it. I'll be chatting about that. Any other topics are welcome.

Don't forget that (based on American date systems) Thursday is pi day.

I have tried to go to these meetings in the past. You have to be seated
and if your new and don't reconize anyone your asked to leave. People
seated witnessed this and it embarrasing and if someone there they don't
speak up.

Sorry to hear that. Typically someone is there before 18:00 pretty much all of the time, however we have had some decimation in the ranks recently due to a number of unfortunate events and that has made it a little difficult to find us.

I'll have to see if I can locate a stuffed beastie to put on the table. That should be sufficiently obvious for anyone new.

I mentioned this to the people who were at the meeting this month.

It is time to get the final few volunteers for bag stuffing, crowd control, booth watching, etc. 

I have three volunteers so far from the local pool and I'd like to get three more. The big one at the moment is getting the bags stuffed. That typically occurs on the Thursday around 13:00 and takes about an hour. If you have the time to spare, you can be spared some of the registration cost. Contact me to volunteer. 

We usually get some assistance from others who show up early for the conference, but it is nice to know who you have available for the job.
