The April meeting will be held on the second Thursday of the month. We are moving back to the original night as the prior move did not assist in gathering new faces. We've been pretty consistent at 4-6 people every month.

As everyone on the mailing list should know, we re-branded ourselves in January as the Ottawa-Canada BSD Users Group, given the group membership and to that end we have another public face, ocbug.ca. Posts to the old mailing list will forward to the new list for the near future, but I'm planning on closing submissions after a few months. The existing posts will be available on the new site as a viewable archive and for some continuity. The new mailing list is avai

Come out and share a story, bring a question or lurk. I will have a handful of PC-BSD 8.2 DVDs with me for anyone who is interested. I will also have a few FreeBSD stress balls and some daemon horns.

We had a "more successful" mini-install fest, so we need to talk about a full one. As far as I can tell, the main issue with installs is the installer itself. Once you get past the initial configuration and get to the installation phase, everything goes pretty smoothly. This is one discussion item. I believe we have a few photos from the event, so those will get published on the new site shortly - that means sometime between now and doomsday :)
